Felicità

Oggi mi sento felice. Sono felice perchè uscire di casa a metà giornata, riscaldata dal sole invernale splendente nel cielo limpido e azzurro, bella nei miei occhiali da sole scuri, camminando verso l'ufficio postale col mio pacco da spedire sotto il braccio, sorridendo nel vedere i bambini giocare con le colombe, è stata una bella sensazione e mi ha messo di buon umore.

Sono felice perchè penso che domani ci saranno i miei amici con me, per una giornata all'insegna dell'italianità, e mentre girovago alla ricerca degli ingredienti perfetti per il mio pranzo, penso che Benigni aveva ragione: la vita è bella, la mia vita è bella, almeno oggi. Auguro una vita bella a tutti, in particolare a Oriana, oggi è anche il suo compleanno!

I'm happy today. I'm happy because going out in the middle of the day, warmed up by the winter shiny sun in a fair and blue sky, beautiful in my dark sunglasses, walking toward the post office with my package to be sent, smiling seeing some kids playing with the pigeons, was a nice sensation and it turned up my mood.

I'm happy because I think that I'll spend one day with my italian friends tomorrow, for an all Italian event, and while looking for the perfect ingredients for my dishes, I think that Benigni is right: life is beautiful, my life is beautiful, at least today. I wish you all a beautiful life, especially to Oriana, my friend, today it's her birthday!
