Probabilmente sicuro -- Probably sure

Assumersi le responsabilità non piace a nessuno. Apparentemente.
Men che meno piace ai giapponesi, i quali conducono un'esistenza sopraffatti dalla paura di commettere un errore di valutazione, vivono nel timore di uno sbaglio, fanno del periodo ipotetico uno stile di vita, si basano sull'incertezza per poter essere certi di non essere male interpretati. Credo.
I giapponesi sono artisti delle probabilità, sono maestri dell'ovvio dubbio, affermano e confermano ogni pensiero con un "forse" a fine frase. E lo fanno con padronanza, perchè sono assolutamente certi di quello che stanno dicendo. Forse.

Ci sono circa 12 modi diversi (dodici, non uno o due, ma DODICI) in giapponese di dire "forse" in maniera sicura, e ognuno di essi rappresenta un livello di probabilità che va dal verosimile al quasi inverosimile, e vanno usati all'interno di uno specifico contesto. Penso.

多分 (tabun). "hai fame?". "tabun". Forse....
かなー (kanaa). "Va tutto bene! kanaa". Quasi....
かもしれない (kamoshirenai). "domani piove. kamoshirenai". Potrebbe...
と思う (toomoo). "ho ragione. toomoo". Penso.....
Tutto ciò ha senso. Probabilmente.

Even less like the Japanese, who conduct their existence overcome by the fear of make an evaluation error, who live being afraid for a mistake, who make a lifestyle out of the hypothetical period, they base themselves on the uncertain to be certain not to be misunderstood. I guess.

The Japanese are artists of probability, are masters of the obvious doubt, they affirm and confirm any thought whit a "maybe" in the end. And they do it with confidence, because they're absolutely sure of what they're saying. Perhaps.

There's about 12 (twelve, not one or two but TWELVE) different ways in Japanese to say "maybe" surely, and each of them represents a level of probability that goes from the almost true to the almost not true at all, and are to be used in a specific context. I think.


多分 (tabun). "you hungry?". "tabun". Maybe....
かなー (kanaa). "It's OK! kanaa". Almost....
かもしれない (kamoshirenai). "It will rain tomorrow. kamoshirenai". It might...
と思う (toomoo). "I'm right. toomoo". I think.....

All of this makes sense. Probably.
