End of October....please!

*************

Why don't we just forget about this month, it would be better. I have been accompanied from the beginning of this fall -quite pleasant climatically- greatly by a psycho-physical-emotional state, which is not going to improve, I'd rather leave behind.

I had thought about everything and it would have been perfect….five days of solitary vacation for my birthday was this month's goal. South of Japan, deserted and warm beaches, luxury hotel-spa, silence and solitude to meditate about life and other things, rejuvenate the spirit and reach a peaceful status of mind. This is what I wanted. Unfortunately this year we experienced a late typhoon season, two weeks after the expectations, which blew up the plan, the only one I had. Those five days I then spent at home, isolating myself from the rest of the world, because this is what was imposed by the circumstances and because I wanted so, in the end, since I had the same mood as a crocodile after eating its own puppies.

Hard daily battle the one that saw me against hiding such a mood, at times a winner and at times a defeated contestant. It must also be this love and hate relationship between me and Japan, as I mentioned on the anniversary of my arrival in the rising sun empire.

The last monday in October starts a third round of a world-size meeting, and for one week Vegas' streets will be walked by dear old friends and collaborators searching for the perfect deli. Be it welcome, in facts, although demanding (and highly alcoholic), it increases the factor distraction…

There is a positive fact in this month, tho, to balance things: my best friend in Japan, Parisa, moved into a place in my same building and this cannot but contribute to strengthen our bond more, in addition to give me a more stable company. Now we live not two trains apart anymore but just two floors apart..and with her my evenings are brighter: after five years thanks to Parisa I have installed a ceiling light in the living room!
